HONK! Programme for bands

Friday 26th September

2.00 – 7.00 pm: Band registration: at the Bradford Hotel

4.00 – 6.00 pm: HONK! Band rehearsal at the Bradford Hotel (visiting bands are welcome to join)

7.00 – 9.00 pm: Let the Music Loose community performances. 15 bands playing in 15 community centres – from Keighley to Queensbury, Ilkley to Windhill.

9.00 – 11.00 pm: Band social at the Bradford Hotel

Saturday 27th September

9.00 – 10.30 am: HONK! Band rehearsal at the Bradford Hotel (visiting bands are welcome to join)

11.00 – 1.00 pm: Sound of the Streets. 16 bands from across the world playing in public spaces across the district.

2.00 – 4.00 pm: Bring it to the City. The biggest busk Bradford has ever seen!

4.00 – 6.30 pm: The Big HONK! Showdown of the International bands in Centenary Square, with the HONK! Band, the Peace Artistes, Punjabi Roots, Bradford Voices and special guest SilverFinger Singh.

8.00 – 11.30 pm: Bandslam at the Bradford Hotel for all participating bands and volunteers, and up to 1000 audience members lucky enough to get a ticket. Tickets now on sale at https://tinyurl.com/a5bc79mx

Sunday 28th September

Workshops for all participants and open to the public.

10.30am – 11.30am: Workshop 1

12pm – 1pm: Workshop 2

1pm – 3pm: Lunch and farewells at the Bradford Hotel

After HONK!

HONK! UK Bradford is hoping to pass the baton onto another UK streetband for HONK! 2026
