People Have the Power

Patti Smith tune arranged by Ken. A great community, democratic activist anthem ably capturing the spirit of the streetband ethos.  Ken will be working with a local choir, Bradford Voices and friends, on this piece.

Down by the Riverside

Traditional second line number. Punjabi Roots will be joining in on percussion. There is no music for this number and it will be learnt by ear.

Moliendo Cafe

Ken will work with the Peace Artistes arrangement of this tune. He will use a version which is in Concert C Minor, D minor for Bb and A minor for Eb instruments.

Nezalezhnist

Ken has written this new piece.

It is called Independence, or Nezalezhnist in Ukrainian, and is written to help bring peace and support to Ukraine and all illegally oppressed countries.

Please note that Ken works with a fun, inclusive and empathetic process. This could mean trying out ideas and inspirations during rehearsals.

Reserve Tunes

As a backup there are three reserve tunes which may be used during rehearsals instead of the selected tunes, depending on circumstances during rehearsals. The reserve tunes are,
